The depth chart below says coins detected to 3m (almost 10 feet) and detects objects to 10m.

They probably have a dowsing app for it too [emoji12]

Thats cool if it works at all! Even if it went a foot I'd be impressed!

I always wanted to build one using a laptop, but.........I'm not smart enough for all of that!:laughing7:

Wow ! Thats a great idea ! I know of some places a set up like that would work !

The depth chart is from a metal detector that I don.t remember the name right now

Hmmm..interesting, but one has to have signal from a satellite. Where we go there is no signal in the canyons we visit. But hey cool idea...Someone will be able to use it in a park etc...

I did not see where you needed a signal from a satellite or even a cell tower for the thing to work. The walking stick is the detector and the phone just provides the user interface and data processing, no phone signal required, So the title of the thread is a little misleading. Interesting concept. Wouldn't mind the 3d scanning and graphics in a non-low-profile detector setup either.

OKM is an advanced company used by archaeologists to detect metals underground. The digital technology produces images similar to infrared. You can even see the ground mineralization.

Reading the info is something else though. There are video's that teach. More than a hobby, IMO. Some serious treasure hunting.

I researched OKM a couple years ago - I was not impressed. Also, I downloaded one the "metal detector" apps for smart phones, It did NOT work.

The app needs the Rover UC to operate.

The Rover UC application on the smart phone interacts with the telescopic probe.

The app does nothing without the probes.

The grave and tomb detector Rover C II is on the top of all Rover Series products in regard of functionality and performance. It is a combined detector including the features of the metal detector Rover C and the geoelectrical detector Cavefinder. So it cannot only be used to search for buried metals like treasures or boxes, it can also be used to find hidden rooms, graves, tombs or other underground cavities.
