Small update from KellyCo regarding preorders…

Just got an email from KellyCo, and while they don't mention when they'll be receiving their stock, they do state specifically, that they will be shipping out the Max preorders in the order they were received.

Wonder if I can check to see what place in line I am…

I ordered mine on EBay and it says I'm expected to get it Sept 5. I ordered it on August 25. But we'll see.

Who on Ebay did you order it from, that is what matters. I personally would have gone direct to one of the established dealerships for a new release. I only saw one AT Max offer on ebay and never heard of the retailer.

We don't have a retailer here, but I spoke with the dealer on EBay ,who is ranked high in satisfaction, and he said his first shipment is going out on the 5th. It's being shipped in the order of when ordered so I might be on the next shipment. The reason I went through eBay is I have no payments for six months through PayPal finance and that allows me the time to sell my ATP and some other things to pay for the Max.

I assumed you knew because you said he told you his first shipment was going out in the 5th. Unless you (or he) meant the 5th of Oct., the 5th is right after Labor Day, which is when Garrett said they'd be starting mass-production. That's why I asked how it was possible that he already had the inventory to start shipping out on the 5th.

I did pre-order from KellyCo, but who knows how many other preorders are in front of me. So if there's a possibility of getting one as soon as possible, I'd gladly cancel my preorder and do business with someone else.

Oh, ok that makes more sense. I thought you meant Sept. 5th too because that's what you wrote in the second post of the thread above. i guess you just typed it wrong up there. Was concerned you were getting a bogus shipping date from the ebay guy because it did not jive with what Garrett was saying they're shipping date to the retailers would be (i.e., after Labor Day). By retailers, I meant an established online retailer like Kellyco not a local store. I just find the ebay storefronts to be really sketchy in general. I really only purchase used stuff from individuals there, do not buy from the mass market storefronts on ebay usually.

I went with Wayne this time around. I normally have done BBH in the past, but I think it's good to spread the love. And I've always heard great things about Wayne, so might as well!

Thanks Gary, I did get a small order in and filled most of my preorders. You should be good on my next shipment. hopefully they come in next week.
