small toy helmet, ??

found this in my yard which used to be a old farm. It looks like a small toy helmet for an action figure. i know it probably is not that but that is what it looks like, shaped like a miniature welders mask with out the glass depending on how you hold it. Its hard to tell from the photos but its surfaces are all curved

Looks like an old cabinet mounted bottle opener, but may be too small for that.

Sorry I couldn't find a pix to show you what I mean, but second to last pix reminds me of a flag pole mount, like on a front porch post?

Looks like all of the above but it also looks like an RV cabinet catch like the plastic one pictured.
