Hey folks

Found this bullet that stumped me a bit. On vids I saw on youtube, guys in America are finding these type of bullets and refer to them as minie balls, used in the civil war. This one however is very small in comparison. Found this on a possible Anglo Boer War battlefield site, though there is no record of a conflict or military contact taking place there.

Any advice?

It looks to me like it's from the 1800's It has a good patina on it. Not sure what type of gun it was used in. I'm sure someone on this site can identify it for you, but you may want to get a set of calipers so you can get an accurate measurement on the next good find like that one!
