Thanks for sharing these, Renerio.

From the picture, I assume these were not found in the USA. Found in Philippines?

You said found in the hill. They were buried in a hill near your village/city?

Are they clay?

Not sure what you mean by bronze mask, so clarifying that might help someone.

Again, thanks for sharing.

If you have permission, you should go dig some more where the pig was digging. Take your metal detector with you also to see what you can find. Tell the pig I said nice finds. And please keep us posted on progress.

There is always the old fashion way. Dig. Or if you have a probe or can get one or make one, you might try probing around the site. Here is my probe. You likely would not need one so long. Some of the stuff in river bottoms here are deep. Or just ask the pig where to dig.

My mother had a couple that size and shape, I can remember asking her about them growing up at home. Don't remember what she said, but from looking at one held in my hands, thought it was a clay pot someone made and decorated.

Style of artwork looks similar to mom's, I hit 65 years old last year... so, small pots could be really old.

How to make and how to use this Sir?

Very cool! The pots could be clay that is stained from being exposed to chemicals in the dirt, or it might have been fired in a wood kiln which could result in the black color. I'd love to see a picture of the masK! Have you tried it on to see if it gives you magical powers?

Opium jars.

This essay analyzes the circumstances behind the creation and the content of the Philippine Opium Report of 1905.

USA Chinese labor

As doctors led fewer patients to addiction, another kind of user emerged as the new face of the addict.

Opium smoking spread across the United States from the 1870s into the 1910s, with Chinese immigrants operating opium dens in most major cities and Western towns.

They attracted both indentured Chinese immigrant workers and white Americans, especially “lower-class urban males, often neophyte members of the underworld,” according to Dark Paradise. “It’s a poor town now-a-days that has not a Chinese laundry,” a white opium-smoker said in 1883, “and nearly every one of these has its layout” – an opium pipe and accessories.

I found one of them, a smaller less than 2 inches tall. There are no flowers painted on, it looks like fired clay. Half curved side with wide opening. Tiny pot was on the window sill, holding a small pine cone. You could use them that way I'd think. Should be nice for holding a small short stemmed flower.

Not sure about scribble on bottom, if it might be an alphabet letter (for some Asian or Middle Eastern language).
