I don't don't get the horse part. Looks like a decorated belt with owls and an Indian Chief, and your clock needs batteries.

It was attached to a saddle. But the saddle was beat up.

Only tied to it with rope like it belonged with it, I was thinking it was some sort of accessory. But it's really a small belt
