small eagle button found, can someone help ID it?

Was hunting a small community center tonight by my house, the place used to be an old school house. I never really found anything here before but for some reason the signals were plenty tonight. found what i think is an 1888 indian head cent, 2 wheats, a 7" bone handle buck knife, and this button. heres pics of the button, ill have to update everything else later on. Im mostly curious about this button. I never found an eagle button, it says on the back - L A MYERS JR Inc, Newark NJ - I think its military but im no expert, anyone have a clue? the coin under the button is a quarter, so the button is quite small.
