small copper disc

I found this small copper disc a week or so ago & have no idea what is might be or was. maybe a totally worn coin or a flat button. It is about .75" round & about .05" thick. If it has a design it is lost on me.

Could be an old conduit hole punch. Doesn't strike me as a toasted coin. Plus at 3/4" idk what sort of copper coin it could be anyways.

thank you cti4sw ...I know very little about older coins or anything else for that matter, but whatever it is, it appears to have had a rough life.
