Small Copper 1822? Please help?

Pulled this small coin today on a after work hunt. It is smaller than a dime and made of copper? Didn't ring up to high on the ATP only a 65 thought it might be a flat button. The back side of it a large chunk flaked off the back long ago and leaves it useless so didn't include any pictures of it. Hopefully a coin wizard out there will help me out.
