I see crimp marks on it. Typically that means it is newer than CW. I'm sure one of the bullet guys will correct me if I'm wrong.

thats the thing i didn't think they had those clip marks. or at least i don't see them

Sorry to have to tell you, that bullet is from sometime after the civil war ended. I believe it is no earlier than the 1890s and most likely from the first half of the 20th Century. I am 100% certain it is not in any of the various reference books on civil war bullets.
