Small buckle

Hello,

I have never found a buckle that looked like this at all. Does anyone recognize what it may have been? What time period would this type of buckle be from? The dimensions are approxamitly 24mm by 17mm.

That's a old Buckle for the US ... it's a Double looped Aysemetrical Buckle, the Date Range is quite wide...1577-1700, Good find This ones complete
