Cool. I've never seen one with the X and anchor like that. Fomr the way it's made I'd say it's horse related and Span Am or WWI period.

The buttons are in great shape!When i found my buckle i did search around to see where it may have come from & this was the one i think it was.Myabe north &jud had a deal with the government for the troops supplies?

72cheyenne's link said they made fasteners for military gear.
