Found this Small Buckle Found amongst some British 1812 flat buttons and Union Civil War items.
Its about an inch total length x 3/4 inch tall.
I think the tongue/shank is missing.
Any info would be appreciated. Type, Name, Era, Origin, Usage, etc.
