✅ SOLVED Small bottle with hollow base

Found in my yard. The bottom broke open and had a powder residue. I can not find what it is.

looks like a medicine bottle(snake oil etc.)pat applied for was usually a cheap attempt at seeming more credible.Be careful with the powder,there have been stories of dangers with such items as virtually every biological you can think of was bottled as a miracle cure..even venoms....cool find,I like it.

This could be a opium container used by a Chinese labored . The "Patent Applied For" logo may just be for the container and NOT the contents . About 35 years ago a friend of mine was in the process of taring down a abandoned building and found a rather large crock filled with "opium" . And it was like your contents a "white" powder . A chemist analyzed the contents and determined it to be opium . And although it was very old and from the days when you could just buy opium legally (post civil war) it was still usable by the tests and was destroyed due to that and because it could put you in prison .

Welcome to TNet. Your bottle appears to be metal. Is it? What is the size?

It is metal. The bottom was hollow and the top portion is solid with some other material on the inside.

And the length was about the size of an adult palm.

It looks to me like a KEM figural bottle lighter. Can you separate the top half from the bottom?
The chalky stuff may be what's left of the batting.
