Small bottle with embossing. Can’t seem to figure this one out

Any clues as to who made this and what it was for? Dug in an 1880 privy. C & S on one side. Another side has Bryan O. And another side has I. & P.O. Thanks for the help. Jgas.

May be a very old ink bottle some ink bottles can be pretty valuable. I’ve never seen anything like it.
The C&S may be Cannington, Shaw & Co... just a guess.
