Hunting near the A5 in the Midlands we came across two bottles:

The first is marked: Congreve's Celebrated Balsamic Elixir For Cough's Hooping Cough & Asthma - dates 1800 - Early 1900's?
the second looks like a small brown medicine bottle - no markings.

We found several pieces of scrap metal some large and some smaller. When I found a smaller piece I dropped it down on the ground where it was found and continued on digging. 10 minutes later I turned to pick up the piece of metal to put it into a bag and resting on top of it there was a little bell. I have no idea where this came from it had definitely come out of the ground. There was just me and my girlfriend and she did not see the bell or know it was there. Nobody else was anywhere near the area so this is a complete mystery as to where it came from. There is no way the bell could have just bounced onto the piece of scrap as I dropped it down.

It may be a cow/sheep bell or could have been used on a shop front? maybe a chemist door as it was near the medicine bottles. The inside piece is missing - maybe it was thrown away?

still no old coins found! :(
