Small Bayonet-needs id

The only mark I can find is the letter H stamped in the metal near the locking slot . Any info will be greatly appreciated ! thanks

I looked up the carbine just out of curiosity and it looks more like a knife than a bayonet. Our training instructor use to say, they fix bayonets and charge, you fix bayonets and shoot them! Monty
