Went out to a place I haven't tried before with my friend Ray and had a very nice day! Ray grabbed a mercury and I managed to dig a 1914 D Barber Dime and a 1910 D Barber Quarter! ( My first!) I also had my heart stop for a second when I saw a gold coin at the bottom of a hole that turned out to be a 1940 New York Worlds Fair Token that was in fact not gold. (Look at how good that thing looks sitting in dirt!) We both also dug a pretty good handful of Wheaties and clad. Can't wait to get back out with Ray. I think he is my good luck charm.! That barber quarter is still alluding me. Grats on a great hunt!

You are in an area for Barbers, Not much gold circulated back east though. Very nice finds.

Nice Barbers! Those gold colored coins and tokens sure can wake you up!

two barbers in the same hunt is pretty awesome and I know how you feel, a real heart breaker for sure

Nice silvers, I'm still looking my first barber quarter

Congratualtions on the nice silver! :occasion14:

I am envious. I am in a Barber slump right now and would love to find 2 in one hunt.

Way to go and keep swingin,

I got one Barber quarter in 4 years, that are very good at hiding from me.

Congrats on the nice hunt!

Very nicely done ! Congrats on your first Barber Quarter, the dime, and your "almost gold coin". That token is a very nice piece even though it isnt gold.
