Been a long time since finding a silver coin. Today the 2nd signal was a wheat penny and It got me pretty excited...then I remembered the other three hunts where the first signals at each spot were wheaties and nothing after that.

Well I dug almost as many wheats to memorials 8 to 10. I like finding them and rubbing the date off it's like my own version of scratch off tickets....I like to pretend I'm going to find a 1943 copper.

I was surprised at both mercs...this was a quick lunchtime hunt working difficult ground near A LOT of underground wires and hubs.

Thanks Rook. 5 minute drive to a coworkers back yard. I go there from time to time but get frustrated with all the electricity going through the ground.

Not bad for a lunch time hunt. Great finds in such a short period of time. Congrats

Glad to hear you got out of your slump. My turn next I love detecting the thrill of the hunt but we all need a bone once in a while Good job

Nice Mercs! Great way to get out of a silver slump! :icon_thumleft:
