SLQ, Merc's. Buf & some Abe's
Finally I got out for a short bit to do some metal detecting. We've had such a lousy wet and cold Spring, worste I've seen in years! But today I hit up a spot in a old park that has recently had a large area of brush bull dozed and I ended up with silver!
First dig was a girl scouts pin, then the 1925-P Standing Liberty Quarter, then a 1918 wheatie. Just before finishing up as my batteries were just about done with I hit a iffy signal... ended up with a 1917-P & 1918-P merc's and a no date Buffalo Nickel laying there altogether for all these years. They're pretty worn. Also dug two more wheaties, 1937 & 1938.
I'll refresh my batteries this week and give it another shot mid-week
