Hi All,
Went back to a yard I hit last month. Got a good tick. Stopped and worked the coil around some other signals. Finally got a good signal two ways and a good pin point. Found it at about 7 inches. Had some water in the truck and gave it a rinse, man was I surprised to see the eagle on the back (my 2nd SLQ, this one is in much better shape them my 1st one). Found the 3 wheats and the cool token as well. The ring I found yesterday at a Church parking lot. Will take it to a jeweler to see how much it would be to put it back in a round condition.
This is my 23rd silver coin for the year.
Thanks for looking,
Bunker

It would be nice to get out for a hunt. Still have snow on the ground and still freezing weather. You did alright......Matt

Thanks All,
Just can't seem to get this global warming up your way! I'll keep trying.
The soil down here is really hard on silver for some reason. We have little to no mineralization. This SLQ is far better then the last one I found. You could barely tell it was a SLQ. Most of the silvers I find are tainted black. Any idea how to clean them up would be appreciated.
HH,

good hunt. I hope I can find some places to hunt other than beaches when I get down there. Unless you are in the water this time of year the finds are scarce. congrats

SWEET SLQ rings a little bang up but still silver.

Thanks Cntrydncr1 and Billpa.
I know what you mean about the beaches. I RARELY go to them. A lot of people in my club do them but I prefer parks and older yards.
