This year has been a very slow year for me this year with paleo pieces. I had 1 base all year, then at the beginning of December I found 9 paleo pieces including this beautiful complete Midland. I ventured out to a whole new area and it paid off. I never would have thought to find these where they were. Its paper thin, and well... Just awesome! Also here is a unfluted Folsom preform, you can see the striking nipple very well on this piece. I wanted to share with u all! Take care and have a Merry Christmas!!! :)

Sweet point rite there, congrats!

Well it was a good year Chong :notworthy: I always liked seeing your insitus. You still scouting off a 4 wheeler or dirt bike? Very nice points I bet you are was stoked on those. Congrats!!

Thanks guys! And yes Richard, pretty much whatever fits the need of the day. This beats any in-situ pic.... My video of a complete Folsom I found last year!
I cannot put a insitu of this Midland because I have a internet stalker from my town. The pic would lead him to the creek I found it at. Crazy sounding but true... Enjoy the vid! p.s. bad language...

That is a beauty of a midland Chong........where the heck have you been man??................Miss the games of find the point!! You need to come on here more often bro been a while!!..........How has Manchu been fairing??.........................GTP(Chris)

Heya Chris! Ive been here lol a slow year. Season just got started:) Manchu is doing good! Him and WTGWAYNE were headed down here this weekend so we could do a hunt, but nasty snow made them cancel. Word is, there is a 5 inch Eden out there waiting, so they are comming down tomorrow so we can go find that bad boy:) We have had some killer storms tearing through our area. Good to hear from all you guys!

Great Video!!!! I was stoked and getting nervous,lol.. Yeah you gotta come back and do "Find the Point" again. That was great. Good luck and good seeing you back again. Yes never do a panoramic of your places and make sure your GPS is off on your smart phone.:occasion14:

I have to ask.... If you had the G.P.S. off when you took the photo would that take care of that?

He might recognize the water way Gator. Texas does not have the water you do.. Good morning t-net. Heading out if the rain stops :)

hi chong,
you always find the good stuff!thanks for the show and glad to see your doing well.

That's the holy grail for the Great Plains regions (OK maybe Edens are cooler in my opinion, but you've found one of those too!). You're fortunate to be able to hunt a Folsom site, especially a manufacturing site with preforms.

I like the video,
Don't forget that Folsoms are about 10,000 radiocarbon years old, but that calibrates to 12,000 years old. Radiocarbon dates from the end of the Pleistocene are about 2000 years too young. A far more accurate dating technique is dendrochronology (tree ring dating). But I don't know of any paleoindian sites that have been dated with dendrochronology...
