Slow swing speed=good results for me

I know it depends on your detector, but while I was out in my yard messing with the XLT, I found if I swing slowly I found a lot more stuff. I found 2 rings (1 maybe an opal?) and 8 pennys (6 being wheat). This is the same area that I thought was hunted out when I was swinging quickly.

Just a thought- give it a try

PS I sent my story into Whites on that victorian pin that I found, they are sending me a gift certificate and printing my story!

The slow swing has helped me at an air base here.For some reason my Garrett missed coins at a faster pace.I think i was hitting nails near the coins and my 550 kept reading iron at a fast swing. aa
