What a difference a day makes! After yesterdays balmy action packed day… today wet, very wet, and only a few hard won finds!

Best of the day went to himself with half a hammered… (no I’d?) buckles, nice little thimble… it’s tiny! Couple of musket balls, a damaged crotal bell, bit next to it must be the ringer as it fell out while cleaning.. interesting lead bits, and a few other random bits…!

These fields are covered in pottery shards, so have taken to picking up the interesting shapes to use as props for the finds pictures, another side to this hobby I love! xx

Love the hammered pic...nice detail...is that a 2 ring bullet I see? The lock bit would look nice on my nic nac shelf...always a joy to see your finds...himself needs a good recovery now and then to keep from getting too discouraged.
