That is a great looking copper, mine don’t ever seem to look that good. I’m in western pa, and saw you in Pennsylvania too. Maybe differen soil location. Great finds,congrats
About half the coppers I find are really corroded and the other half are in good enough shape to atleast get a date off them
 

Was out swinging for 5 hours today and I had a hard time getting my coil to swing over many good signals but I still managed to swing over a few that was worth bringing home. The large cent is as good as they come out of the soil...could anyone tell me the age of the one piece eagle button???
Anytime you find a copper is a good day. Nice job

Nice big penny, but the eagle button is nicer.... it is in Tice's book as G1203A3 (Albert's GI 80), and dates to around 1835. Definite keeper!
