Absolutely awesome haul of goodies you've got there! Congrats on the new spot!

Not a bad day's work! congrats.

Really nice finds there, those silvers are great!

quite the haul, bet the water felt nice too

I would like to ask a question but don't want to sound ignorant, but if I don't ask I'll never learn. You said you went into the woods and hunted.

My question is did you do research on the wooded area which led you to hunt there? Or did you just select a random section of woods to hunt? I imagine that being in NY and with the state having so much history you could hunt just about anywhere and find stuff. Goes to figure that at some point in time something was happening just about everywhere.

Either way you made some wonderful finds. Congratulations.

Very nice finds. Congrats!

Nice haul there !! Ivy and me are no mix seem to catch it at least once each summer also then its benadryl pills and cremes what a pain !

Well not exactley I've hunted woods and blanked. But to answer you ? I use historicmapworks.com overlay is great! I usually pick places with water very close, start at woods shoreline and work my way out. Remember with wooded area that your target I'd is not accurate because getting coil flat and directly over target is difficult. Good luck, ohh I prefer larger coil first ( cover lots of ground) but I always pack 5 inch to cover tree shrubbs.

Great haul you got there.
It was definitely hot out there today. I didn't hunt long but I was drenched in the first 4 minutes.
I wish I had gone to my river to hunt so I coulda' jumped in.

Looks like you were non stop digging....Nice take!

Thank you for sharing your hunt and those pictures

I have poison ivy and nothing to show for it! You pulled some nice silver out of those woods, congrats.
