Me and RMBUTCHER hit a new field today for a few hours..I found a real nice 1833 LC right away then the field went dry for awhile after that..managed a 1900 barber dime and a 1936 wheatie and a flattened old ring.
I didn't mean for it to sound as if it where a bad day..any day i get a LC or a silver is a good day...by slim pickins I meant we where out there for four hours and between the 2 of us we got 3 keepers
The LC was about 4 inches down..a farm field..not many of our finds are too deep out there..found an 1850 LC and a 1859 IH laying right on top of the ground out there last week
