I am from Indiana slate is abundant so is limestone I have been finding animal and bird effigies made of two pieces such as a limestone effigy on one side and brown slate on the other and they are cemented or glued together and are rather large or as big as my hand and they made small birdpoints from a slate that was like steel and thin as paper with these they glued two separate bird points together to make a bird on one side and another animal such as a bear's head on the other side I have found lots of these bird points and I am wondering if anyone has any information about the slate bird points made from two that has been glued together...thank you
