Hi Guys, i found large masses of these stones over a big field because they mess with my Detector. They look molten but not like the typical remains from metal making that i am used finding. In particular, i am surprised about the deep blue color some of these stones sometimes have, mixed with red sometimes too. Actually, it looks very impressing. Its slightly magnetic, not heavy but not light either. Do you think thats Slag? Meteorite or some precious metal content should be out the Question, right? Anyone know why they actually mess with the Metal Detector? They produce signals that are unheard of. Thanks. bye GA

If you are finding these from the area your latest finds have come from, then I would say they are slag from workings from a forge....ocupation on your site, which is good :icon_thumright:
