Found these two rocks close to one another, both are heavier then they should be at this size.
Thought they were slag or from some ore but after doing more research I can't say I believe it's either. Is it a possible meteorite?? What steps or
Actions can I take to find out more on these rocks?? Also both were found in Oldham county, Kentucky.
Both are magnetic as well. Love to have or hear more Input...!!
Last 7 photos are a different rock found close to other two.
Thanks
Brad

Could be Basalt, could be slag, can't really know from the photo. No sign of a fusion crust or dimpling like you find on a meteorite. Here are some L4 Stone Olivine Hypersthene Chondrite (Olivine Fa24±1; Pyroxene Fs20 Wo1; Kamacite contains 0.72±0.09 wt% Co; and a weathering grade W2-3) meteorites I have found in Gold Basin, Arizona.

It looks like magnetite to me, iron ore. I live near an old iron mine and have collected a couple pieces that look very similar. Heavy, magnetic, with some bands of rust in them.
