Picked up a BH 202 off Craigslist a month or so ago and had a blast with it and the kids so far. Found lots of clad in my yard and have gone to the local parks in Lawrence and found yet more clad and a ton of trash. All the trash we put in a backpack in case we get stopped, although we have been told from the supt of parks and rec that its legal to detect as long as we dont use shovels and dig big holes. Got a Fiskars gardening knife and we are getting really good at small plugs and flipping the coins out. I would add there is no written rules prohibiting detecting at parks.
I hope to pick up an F2 sometime soon from Big Boys with both coils and the pinpointer, but money is tight right now.
Did find one gold ring for a buddy at work who had lost his wedding band about a month or two earlier. Got a $40.00 gift card out of it.
