Short outing today but found one of my favorites . Have found a few kids rings from the early years of radio and tv 1920-1950s always love researching them. This one is 1950 SKY KING NAVAJO TREASURE RING . Couldn?t see what it was till I got home and cleaned it up so heading back tomorrow to try and find the stone. Seldom do but worth the effort . Keep swinging everyone

Love it. Especially the "sky blue stone that looks like real turquoise". The picture in the ad doesn't really do it justice!

Great kid shows. Sky King and the Songbird and his niece Penny. I think Sergeant Preston and his dog King were on right before Sky King. "Well King, this case is closed." Gary

“Out of the blue of the western sky comes vroom Sky King”. I remember watching that as a kid. That’s a cool find and great job on the research. Stay safe and keep swingin.

That IS a treasure. If you don't find the stone, it might be worth casting one from epoxy or something.

Cool recovery, congrats-and a real cool AD. Before my time......:laughing7:

Great find! Good luck on finding the stone. If nothing else, you could buy and actual piece of turquoise and mount it in the ring! Thanks for sharing.

That is Awesome find and ID... Very cool ring

That's a cool find. Back in the early 70s I had the pleasure of meeting "Sky King". His name was Kirby Grant. I put his phone in while he was staying at one of the base housing units at the Sanford, Fl. airport(Sanford Naval Air Station). He was an interesting guy and friendly for being a "star".

Thanks everyone
