The box of halves that I ordered last week came in so I went and picked it up. Unfortunately it wasn't a box, rather $200 in rolls. Went through them earlier and got no silver, but there were three that stood out from the others.

1984-S proof

1995-S Olympic Baseball Commemorative

1991-S Mt. Rushmore 50th Anniversary Commemorative

From the little research I've done, the two commems might be worth something due to their low mintages. I think the '91 Rushmore is also a proof, which is much more common than the UNC version. Is there a good way to get the goop off of it? I got what I could off with hot water and soft toothbrush strokes.

oh cool...I've never seen those before

Nice commemoratives, though it is a shame that one has so much grime on it though

Wow congrats on the commemoratives! I can't wait until I find my first, consider me jealous

Unfortunately there is little to no market for impaired modern proofs. Even if there was cleaning a proof coin with a toothbrush (no matter how soft and delicate) destroys the numismatic value. Older proofs can get away with some marks but not moderns. There are aftermarket dips that remove tarnish but it would next to impossible and very cost prohibitive to remove "goop," which is probably pvc damage from an older 2x2 flip or envelope, without damaging the surfaces.

They are still nice finds and would be keepers for me.
