Skunked at the beach today.........

Apologies to those in the North, but 80 degrees is too hot in the valley for January even for SoCal. So went to a heavily pounded Malibu beach and only got 31 cents in clad. The good news is I added to my pull tab collection.

That sure as heck beats 1 degree and 20 mph winds along with a foot of snow. I would be happy digging pull tabs. Good on ya RustyGunn.

Serves you right for teasing us with stories of heat waves, and complaining about 80 degrees. 80 degrees is almost perfect, I could see 90 or up, but complaining about 80

We are in the low 70's during the day, but nights are still in the mid to the bone chilling upper 30's. And I feel like a wimp for not going out at night to hunt. :-)
I'll hunt any 80 degree day, it's the 95 and up that are painful. And thankfully, those aren't coming for a few months.

I hear you guys in CA need some rain and cooler temps, maybe we can make a deal. We here in the north will swap you the snow and cold weather 8 degrees here now, for some warm dry sunny weather. The only problem will be logistics!
