Hi all
My first metal detecting day out for at least six months and a field I have not been on before
and it was a great success, as I got a really nice hammered groat of Henry V1 I think, and a
strapend or it could be a book clasp.? plus a lot of other stuff.

Great groat! Thanks for sharing. I wouldn't clean that further, either.

Thanks, what with the long dry spring the ground was too hard to work, so I had a rest but I've
kept up with Tnet.

Wow ,heck of a hunt. :headbang:

Re: six months later

Congrats on the finds and good to hear from you! The strap end seems to have a Heraldic motive about it so my educated guess would be 1200-1300s. HH, Mike
