I have not done any research on this so I am only repeating what i was told and it may have no truth to it at all. The ship was lost the site unknown is this true? the ship was set up with a large gun that they could run forward and fire while heading at another ship? The gun was very large which made it feared by all who knew of it. If any of this is true I may have a lead on where it is.
OK I did a quick search and could find nothing about this what may have happened was the account of a sunken ship was in the Sea of Cortez and was a Spanish ship sunk by an English ship this is not clear. The diver that told me about his find has suffered a serious head injury and is permanently hospitalized and can not recount any of that. I have sat and talked with him and tried to get him to come up with more but he just lost all of it. We had talked about going and diving on the site long before his injury which destroyed half his brain. I would like to say Mr Glenn White was and is a great diver one of the best and was not prone to telling tall tales. Anyway my friend told me of this huge gun he had found he said it was maybe 25-30 feet long any one ever heard of this sort of thing. I take into consideration that if you see a large gun for the first time they do look quite huge so the size could be smaller.
