Rolling Rock, Pennsylvania
Detector(s) used
Minelab xterra, Whites DFX, Notka Makro Simplex. Folks the price don’t mean everything, the question is are you willing to put in the time to learn the machine, experience will pay off I guarantee it.
Primary Interest:
All Treasure Hunting
Probably the Equinox 800...already have the 600 though. Or possibly the new Simplex multi-frequency model due out later this year?

That’s something to think about ..can you dunk the new simplex completely?

Equinox 800. :headbang:

I spent my $1000 on an 800 last fall. Not in time to figure it out. Hopefully, this spring I'll find some goodies. Like a jar of Morgan dollars.^^^^^^ Gary

Equinox 800, I went from a garret at max and never looked back

Unless you get a super discount you cannot get a fully equipped Equinox 800 for $1000 anymore. The price just went up and when you add the aftermarket shaft you're up to $1100. It annoys me the folks who insist on selling them "bundled"! I don't need another pinpointer, although some may. They start at $949 to $1028 on Ebay today, and you still will want that aftermarket shaft. Some individual dealers may still offer discounts.

So true really, how many pin pointers do we need.
The crap black Garrett
Orange carrot
Minelab useless
Vibra-pro never used it probe:icon_scratch:
Deus won't stay connected probe.(soon to be corrected)
For a G-note? I don't think it would buy a detector that I'm jonesing for really.

I already have the 800, so I'd go with the Nokta Macro Simplex, and pocket the other $750.00

Really sir, I’m currently that simplex owner, I’m fine with it, but I towas considering the equinox 600 or 800. Instead of telling me to buy one of those, convince me why not to viewing your statements above, thankyou

I'd buy a good mid range detector and put the change in my pocket.

Nox 800, just hard to beat all around. Great for the saltwater/ beaches or in the woods looking for coins or CW relics. Deep machine also.

Nox 800. Cant hurt to have more and it doesnt sound like a dying chicken.

I'd buy another AT Pro and save the $500.

I watch a ton of metal detecting videos on YouTube and the guys who are finding the most old coins and relics are still swinging the AT Pro (or the AT Gold).

The one I have, it goes beep when it suppose to go beep, that's why I bought it.

My Tesoro Cibola still works great in its 10th year.

I wouldn’t buy another one. Have too many. As far as the Nox, eh...( seriously considering selling it) So I would sell it and add that money to the 1000 and go take a metal detecting vacation for a couple weeks.

You should definitely sell your Nox. Is it a 6 or 8?
