Looks like it is broken on one end, could it be a flatten piece of a bracelet?

Could be stainless steel, also.

I agree it looks like a ring. It also looks like it could be pewter. :dontknow:

I'm not sure it would be a ring because one side is rounded and the other is flat.

Go back and find the rest of it.
I agree with Kieth-Tx , I see stress marks on the underside of the piece. I think it's a broken ring that got flattened out.

I agree with diggummup, looks like half of a flattened out ring. Probably silver and marked on the piece that's missing.

Give it the ole 'spit-tooie' and aluminum foil test to see if it is silver. Interesting find, Breezie

It could also be a tie clip, most unfashionable now, but very fashionable at one time.

They are all Indian symbols. The arrow for protection, the arrowhead for alertness, the ligntning arrow for swiftness. I see part of the Thunderbird on the broken end.. My guess would be this was part of a ring or bracelet sold by modern Indians to tourists.

Wrap your item in a small piece of aluminum foil, then spit on it; wrap/fold up the foil, then within 10 seconds unfold it. As you are unfolding it, take a big sniff. If it has a bad odor like rotten eggs, your piece is sterling silver. If you're not sure of the smell, test a piece of jewelry or coin that you know is silver. It's a gross test, but it works.
