Hey Guys,
I've been searching the web for another like it and have come to a dead end.
It's a small Waterbury Conn Cos. 2 star button with a plain wreath on the face...appears to be Sterling silver and the loop seems soldered. Any one point me in the right direction to finding some info?
Thank you! 20210810_092543.webp20210810_092705.webp

Someone here will know! Great find!

I see that's your very first post at TreasureNet, so let me say... welcome to T-Net's "What Is It?" forum, the best place on the internet to get unknown objects CORRECTLY identified. (Never trust Ebay or even Worthpoint.)

Definitely not from the civil war era. Your button's backmark says "Waterbury Co's Conn." The Waterbury Button Company's website says the company changed its name from Company to Companies (plural) in 1943.

On the site's History page, scroll down to 1941-45:

By the way... the name got changed back to Company (singular) a few years ago.

Welcome to Tnet.

It's a relatively modern button produced for American Airlines. This, from the Waterbury website:
