We went back over to Phoenix for another hunt and did OK. 8 Wheat pennies with the oldest a 1913s, a 1944d Washington quarter, three old tokens, two 1 mil Arizona tax tokens and I think a toasted Oklahoma tax token, and an old brass button. I can see some letters on the large token, but it is beat up pretty bad to get a positive ID. I took before and after cleaning pictures so you can see what the soil does to coins here. Thanks for looking and stay warm up north. Thank you, Tommy. I really like finding the Az. tokens. Stay safe and have a Merry Christmas, my friend.

Looks like a nice variety.

Nice finds. I love seeing that silver!

Another week another post by Johncoho with silver, wheats and tokens. You are a machine! Man, I can't believe how black that silver gets in the Arizona sand. Why is that? It almost looks like saltwater beach silver.

It really isn't sand here, just crappy hard packed dirt. It must be really alkaline. All the silver comes out with a gray crust on it. I try to get in one good hunt in each week.
