Got out today for a short hour hunt in Savannah. The weather was nice and hot, about 90 degrees and sunny. Went back to the colonial site with the XP Deus X35 9” coil and found a nice old silver thimble and tombac. No markings on the thimble that I can see. It’s very simple and very small with a nice patina for silver (which is why I think that it’s very old. Maybe Crusader could comment on the age?
