Found this today, last hunt I also found a brass Thimble. Looks to be very old considering it is not marked as silver. It has a date hallmark inside. Looks like a "s in a shield. It also has a six on it marking it as size six.

Antique Simons 19th century Sterling Silver Thimble ? Ten Panel from redmoonantiques on Ruby Lane

"From the 1880s, this sterling silver marked Simons thimble shows ten panels along it's rim, alternating plain panels with panels decorated with a double diagonal slash bordered by tiny trefoil-style engravings.

Inside the apex is the traditional Simons mark, except this is the early – and very tiny – Olde English 'S' inside a shield, confirming the 19th century dating.

It's in very good condition, with no holes, creases or other problems. It is in round. A lovely thimble!"
