Thought my yard was pretty hunted out. It warmed up today so I had to go out and look. Came across this engraved tag looking thing. Rang up like a coin. Any ideas of age and what it is? The second piece looks like part of a toy gun?

Forgot to mention.. the first piece is actually two plates held together by those straps.

Your first piece is part of a woman's belt.

I agree with the rectangular pieces being an Art Deco era ladies belt remnant. The cast pot metal hammer spur is off of an older cap gun. You are on a good dig site! Sub 8-)

Cool, so we're talking 1930's then. This is all from my yard. Found a silver quarter from 42, a couple wheaties from the 30's, small clad spill, two buckles, typical garbage, and a milk bottle foil cap from the 50's. Also dug up some porcelain plate fragments.
