So I found a 925 silver ring in a big parking lot after I took the GRE this morning. So I'm counting it towards the silver streak haha. Went out to my wooded site and the targets were few and far between. Lots of headstamps and .22 bullets but I did pop out a penny. At the time I couldn't tell what it was but I figured it was a IHP. Got it home and cleaned it with a dry toothbrush an used a toothpick lightly to reveal it was a 1885 IHP! Then I found a button that was ringing up between a copper and gold/aluminum which I think might be pewter? Seems like its copper though. Im pretty sure its a button but it might not be since there is no shank. y'all tell me! Might need to start venturing farther into the woods to find more targets next time.

congrats on the ring. Agree with trapper, broke ball button.

Thanks trapper and Digiron! Wish I could have found the back!

Keep digging brother and remove all those 12th GA "buttons" so I can get down to the good stuff. But please stay out of those woods there is Absolutely nothing there but again I'll check them just to be sure next week. Oh BTW you've been killing it. Keep sending Jon pics showing him whats not in Tot Lots in Oklahoma.. Haha

Yeap, a common civvy ball/globe button 19th C.
