Hello all! I can't believe my luck! I woke up today debating where to go detect as all the spots i wanted to hit were occupied by sporting events. After doing a half hour of research i ended up at a baseball field that had a good sized field between the two diamonds (i stay off the actual ball fields).. Well i couldn't believe it when my first signal was a beautiful sounding 15-45 jumping up as high as 20-45 about 6" down and i popped out a 1950-d Rosie! ..then my second signal only five feet away was a 12-43 which is usually a clad dime, or penny but it sounded better. I dug 7" down and popped out a 1929 Merc!
I couldn't believe my first two signals were silvers! I was thinking i possibly had virgin ground..but i was wrong..after another hour and hardly any more signals i realized i must have gotten lucky and decided to move to a different spot.
I found a park less then a mile away that never came up in my research but looked old to me so i stopped. The first signal i dug was a wheat so that caught my attention. About a half hour later i dug a 1963 Rosie, I'll take it! Just 15 minutes later i got a beautiful 12-47 about 5-6" down and popped out a 1964 Washington. That's four consequent days of digging silver and 13 coins! I can't believe it. Those are silvers 64-67. Also pulled up a giant junk ring, a junk necklace chain (believe it or not it was my first chain), a bunch of wheats, and allot of clad. Hope you all had a great day, thanks for looking/commenting.
