No, xr7ator, ... it was purely a search puzzle that I started out completely wrong and had to backtrack.

I was sure it was "Colgate-Palmolive".
This led to "Colgate Shaving Stick" ... when I was sure I was on the right track.
This led to "Colgate Shaving Stick" and "Palmolive Shaving Stick" ... and I was sure I was very close.
Nothing ! ... finally found Colgate and Palmolive didn't become a thing until 1953.

Hmmm ? Looked closer and decided the P might be the lead letter, but the E didn't make any sense.
Blindly started to search Proctor and Gamble and Ponds ... based on P.
"Ponds Extract Company" popped up in old ads ... hmmm ... never heard of that.
Bingo ... "blind pig finds an acorn" ... he-he.
It was a total surprise.

You're just as much a part of the group, of many, that make the "What Is It" forum what it is. If it wasn't for The Collective Knowledge as a group this forum would be worthless.......
