Cool! Isn't that your first silver spoon? I know you've got some silver plated stuff before but not solid silver right? Congrats!!

That's funny... I just bought some Honey Nut Cheerios and Lucky Charms. Personally I'd rather have the Lucky Charms with it :)

p.s. I hope it's everything you're expecting it to be... hahaha :)

"ALVIN STERLING"
Found near a chipmunk hole?

Great spoon and Sterling too

It's always a more pleasant drive home with some silver in the trunk

Have a Happy Easter :icon_sunny:

Very nice!

Pattern: MARYLAND by ALVIN SILVER, Sterling Pattern #: 1910

(In case you want to complete your set.)

Wow! Great spoon. I've found a ton of copper and silver-plated flatware, but never a solid silver spoon. How deep was it?

I've got to admit that this thread reminds me of this...

Congratulations!

Joe

Congratulations!

I was totally thinking of that too... even thought of going to find the video... but then, apathy set in and the rest is unwritten history. Hah! That was one of my favorite shows, along with Webster, Saved By The Bell, Punky Brewster, A-Team, MacGyver, Hardcastle & Mc... oh I better stop...

Sweet find bud!!! I have yet to find a solid silver spoon, I have like 100+ silver plated.
