Got out Yesterday for a while and here are some of the finds. 11 - 1 (78).jpg

Cut 2 Reale, Cut 1 Reale, Silver smashed ring, and a 1853 1/2 dime. The round silver disk with bumps appeared to be silver coin but nothing but bumps. 11 - 1 (83).jpg
This is a very interesting piece. The 2 reale beside it shows that it is almost a match to the broken piece. At first I thought it to be a Cob 11 - 1 (79).jpg 11 - 1 (80).jpg But it appears to be maybe pewter instead of silver. It looks like a "Cross" reale produced in Spain with 20% reduction in silver, maybe one of you could help! It seems to me to be pewter. Maybe a fake?
This next item is the third one to come from this spot and I am not sure of its id.11 - 1 (81).jpg 11 - 1 (82).jpg Any help is always appreciated as always. 10 flat buttons and 69 cal round balls also found and of course the bit boss and other leather embellishments.

Wow and I mean WOW!

Gotta be nice hunting in Virginia. More cut silver then colonial copper

Very nice finds!

Heck ya! That’s how it’s done. Great hunt and a bunch of incredible old coins.

That's some great old stuff there.

Congrats I'd hit that place really good.

bottom right of your second pic, i found something almost exactly like that here in a creek bed, except mine has more of a christmas theme in the middle, i couldnt decide if it was a ring or some kind of ornament topper, but its definitely silver

That's my kind of silver there! They sure had a penchant for cutting silver down there in Virginia.
I'm glad a lot of the early settlers and soldiers in SW PA were from Virginia and brought a lot of their cur pieces with them
I think your broken cross pistareen is a poor attempt at a counterfeit.

WOW you crushed it! Congrats :icon_thumleft:

You seem so unfazed (aside from the SILVER, SILVER, SILVER !!!) with such a phenomenal jackpot!
Aaa-MAZING hunt. I am pretty sure I'd need to drive ALL day and part of the night to even be in territory to find those great items. Good job!

You guys back east make me SICK! lol
Grats on some FANTASTIC finds.
