Went to a site visited yesterday with my newbee friend. He found the only silver with my sons detector.
Today I was alone for a two hour hunt.
First find was a clad 1988 quarter down 6". My luck turned after that.
Next I got a shallow for sure coin hit. It winded up being the 6" 925 Italian bracelet.
It was slow for about another 30 minutes then I got the 1935 Merc down way deep.
The last find I thought was a dog tag or a largie with zero detail left. When I got home I washed it with
water and I was amazed to find good detail and the front side and very little on the back.
The coin is definitely a Canadian Queen Victoria Large Cent.
I believe it to be a Young Head minted in 1858 or 1859. I'll put it under the microscope tomorrow
and hopefully get a date.

Hope everyone had a great day.

very nice finds, congrats.

Great variety of silver!

With the hole in that Young Head, I'll bet it's seen plenty of history :)

It looks like someone took a bite out of the large cent. Great digs.
