Silver Ring With Black Stone, 5 wheat’s, GI Joe Dog Tag, etc.

Gold was not to be had yesterday at my mainstay demo. But I like silver too.

I spent about 1 ½ hours at a demo site that had produced for me in the pass. I came out with a silver ring. I think the stone is black onyx. Inside the band is stamped with W ACTON and MCMLXXXVII. Can anyone off the top of their head figure out what that number is and or is for? I think W ACTON is the person who lost it.

I found the pie knife (?) at a different demo during 30 minute sample hunt.

M= 1,000, C= 100, M 1,000, L = 50, X = 10, V=5, I =1 MCM = 1900. Subtract 100 from 2,000. 1977 in Roman numerals. But it looks like three Xs, so it would be 1987. Good finds.

I wear jewelry like I wear church clothes, only on Sunday, he he he. But on the serious side, I don't wear jewelry much because I loose it too much. My mom says that's because I'm not refined enough or too ruff.

Hi timbuckII.
First I soaked it in household ammonia for about an hour or so. Then I scrubbed it with a toothbrush and crest toothpaste, and then rinsed. I finished it off with Silver Cream.

I personally thing that pie cutter is the BOMB though. Let me know if ya ever want to sell it.
